Pregnant, what are the reasons you can't use electric back massagers?
I am wondering what the reasons are that pregnant women are not supposed to use electric massagers? can you just not use back ones or feet ones too?

The concern is stimulating the uterus. Allegedly, there have been women that used back massagers to help with those lower back pains which stimulated the uterus to contract causing pre-mature labor. I used a small back massager for short periods of time and it helped me, but my doctor had a fit about it!
You can use it on your feet without worrying about stimulating labor.

I've never heard that. Have you consulted a doctor or are you just going on a warning on the box? A lot of products have warnings for legal reasons, but there's no validity behind it.
The only reason I could imagine a pregnant woman not being able to use an electric back massager is if she's in her third trimester and the baby is pushing on the large blood vessels that run along a person's back. This cuts off circulation. I imagine the pressure from a massager might further push on the vessels, though it's very unlikely. It would also depend on whether she lays on the massager or sits while using it.

I believe when in doubt don't!
Don't risk hurting the baby or yourself, best you find other ways to get through the pregnancy like professional massages by a qualified therapist (after 3 months) , swimming etc.....

Its absolutely fine! As long as it is pleasurable and comfortable for your wife there is no harm to your unborn child. Theres no need to be so extra cautious. Many pregnant women get a pregnancy massage, which is just altered so that there is not pressure on the stomache. So its fine to use a back massager.

I have been shocked by an electrical massager before. Check with your doctor before using it, if the foot massager is small, take it to the doc so he can make a decision, he may "prescribe" it's use.

My doc said it's fine as long as I follow the instructions for the product. BUT I don't know what you pregnancy is like....I am having no issue so she's okay with it. Ask your doctor.

I would stop using just to be safe until your wife goes to the doctor . In the meantime, give her massages using your hands

Like a Tens Unit? Electrical pulses can cause the uterus to contract and start labor.
