my friends say "that's so hetero!"

I'm straight.

When I hear someone say "That is soo gay," I usually reply with something like, "Guess you're in a position to know!"

Since I know it is meant as a slam against Gays, I retort accordingly.

I am gay, and I LOVE the phrase "that's so gay". I mean, come on, it's hilarious.

However, "that's so straight" just sounds ridiculous. It sounds like you're trying too hard to make some social commentary, and it just doesn't flow as well. It's dumb.

I think that's probably more likely to catch on in the homosexual community, rather than hetro community..

I guess if "That's so gay" means superficial or aloof, "that's so straight" could mean old fashion and square..go figure!

I just doesn't seem to have the same, you know oomph as "That's so gay."

I think it's wrong if people use it to replace the word "stupid."
