What is it like to be an ADA?

At school they wanted us to start thinking about majors and possible careers. I decided that I wanted to make a difference in the world and help people. I thought that being an Assistant District Attorney would be great, but the only thing I have to base it on is Law and Order and stuff like that. So my question is what is it like to be an ADA??? Thanks again guys!
