I am Legend?

have you seen 28 Days Later? It's basically the same thing but "on steroids", as one reviewer put it. Yes, it is a horror movie, with lots of "scary ugly things jumping out of the darkness". Sorry. I have to say that I absolutely hate horror films, too. I usually don't go to see them in cinemas. However, I was a victim of sever peer pressure, and I ended up going - and you know what? It actually is pretty good. I admit though, I missed several of the scenes, because I was hiding behind my popcorn box.

The film wasn't scary as much as tense and at times quite sad, but I'm glad I saw it. I would recommend it, but maybe you should get it on DVD and watch it with friends.

The film does make you think, but, if you are a fan of the book, you will probably be disappointed, because it doesn't follow the plot closely at all.

yeah sorry, then this movie is not for u. honestly tho, it really isn't scarry, it just makes u wonder after watching it about all the stuff that happened. if u really want to watch it anyways, (cuz its so good!) just don't think about it so much. i used to hate scary movies but then i "learned" how to watch them. its ok to be scared watching a scary movie cuz thats the idea. don't mind others if they tease u about not looking at the screen for those "jumpy" parts. if u do get jumped, theres nothing to be jumpy about anymore and u can watch the entire scene without feeling scared. besides, all the monster thingys in the movie are all computer animated. (Golem in Lord of the Rings). so theres really nothing to be scared about. if they couldn't even take the time and effort to make costumes and masks on actual extras, the monsters won't go anywhere but in Hollywood studios. think of scary movies more of an experience rather than a torture cell of bad experiences. its not gonna happen to u, just watch someone else go through it, and have FUN!

In a way, but has great balance between horror moments and dramatic moments. Very good and impacting film. It's like a Horractama (horror-drama-action).

Thanks for asking the question, as I was wondering whether to watch the movie too, since I heard it was scary. Now having read the above answers, I know that if I were to decide to watch it after all, I would probably close my eyes or cover my eyes when something scary pops up on the screen. You know what? It takes bravery to admit you are scared, especially for guys... hehe

I'm afraid I wouldn't consider it a thinker movie. There's one interesting detail in it that you kinda put together at the end of the movie, but for the most part it was scary.

well... i guess it could count a little itty bit as a horror movie. However, it is mostly an action movie, and i don't think it as too much as a thinker movie.
