cesarean section scar?
I have had three cesareans and I have the this bulge above the scare and I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for that bulge to go away or does it ever go away? Is there any methods or excercises to help it go away?

if you had a flat, scarless tummy, it would mean your kids didnt exist, which would you rather? As mothers we sacrafice our bodys to bear children. Be proud to bear the scars of motherhood. There are some woman who would give their right arm, leg, hair, whatever to be able to have children

I have had two c-sections and I still have the bulge. It has gone down quite a bit though through crunches which tightens te muscles in your lower abdomen. to completely get rid of it sicne it is considered excess skin from the baby you would need to get, i believe it is called a tummy tuck to have it removed. Other than that it is a great memory of where your kids were nestled while they were still innocent...before they started destroying your house...lol

I have had 4 c-sections and I haven't been able to get rid of my "dun-lap" completely. abdominal excercises do help.

keep hydrated, keep it moisturized... my friend's scar took a while but it did go down.
there's also special scar stuff on the market, like "mederma" that are supposed to help
good luck
