Rental around Arrowhead?
My brother transferred from Cal. to run a store in KC, he needs to find a rental prop. around his work, close to the stadium. He was pressed for time so he settled for a place close to the PLAZA but has found it to be a bit risky. He's also caring for a friend with cancer. HELP ! Any suggestions I can pass on to him ???

He needs to head west of the plaza and by no means live near the stadium. very dangerous area, trust me. He would have all sorts of highway access as 435 loops all around the city with major hospitals near 435 too. Have him travel west from the Plaza, go into Kansas and look in Shawnee Mission area: leawood, mission, merriam, shawnee, overland park, lenexa, olathe. It is a safe area and prices are better than Plaza area anyway.

Your brother is looking for an apartment or a rental house? He won't want to live near the stadium because the immediate area is a dump. There is no place within two miles of the Plaza that I would consider risky, compared to the area right around Arrowhead.

If he doesn't mind the drive tell him to get into the Leawood area or Overland Park area. They are nice areas and the rent is fair priced. Also have good hospitals in those areas.
