I made a note while writing, having heard a song I liked. Unfortunately, this was quite a while ago, and I can't recall where I heard it. The note was
"When Morning Comes to America" - male voice
I don't know if this was the refrain or simply what I thought the title might be. Most likely was *not* rock/indie, more likely classical/bluegrass/folk.
Any help? Any suggestion about where to look for it?
I found it - thanks for the help
Danko/Fjeld/Andersen - title is "when morning comes to america"

The tune that comes to mind given your note and the general category is the Arlo Guthrie tune "City of New Orleans." The refrain:
Good Morning America, How are you?
Don't you know me? I'm your native son.
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans,
I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done.
I could see how that first line (especially the way it is sung by Arlo) could be construed to form the note "When Morning Comes to America." I performed this song for a post-Katrina benefit and found it very emotionally resonant despite it being more about the railroad than the city itself. Additionally, I believe it is from this song that the show Good Morning America takes its name. Hope this helps!
