Tiger Woods Plays Golf on the Moon?
If Tiger Woods were to play golf on the Moon, how would it affect his game? In particular, how much higher and how much farther would a drive go on the Moon? Include an algebraic solution/explanation.

Ah, sounds like you want somebody to do your homework for you. Well, I'll get you started, but you'll have to do a little of the thinking for yourself.
If Tiger is able to swing as hard on the moon as on the earth, then the ball should leave the club with the same velocity in both cases. Call that "v".
The formula for a golf ball's range is:
R = v²sin(2θ)/g
The value of "g" on the moon is 1/6 of the value of "g" on the earth. So if you divide the "g" by 6 and leave everything else the same, how does that affect the range (R)? (Simple algebra.)
The maximum height reached by the ball is given by this formula:
h = v²sin²θ/(2g)
Again ask yourself: If the "g" is decreased by a factor of 6 (and everything else remains the same), by how much does "h" change?

One of Apollo trips played golf on the moon
(so it's not hypothetical)

Obama's being on trip? it is the ideal ingredient he's comprehensive yet for the rustic! ask your self whether they're going to have a lager in the rose backyard? Oh wait! no one dropped the "Race" card... ask your self how plenty his trip is costing us.
