How do you play songs from a usb on your ps3?
i have songs saved on my usb thumb drive in .mp3 and .wma format. is there a specific format or something because when i plug it into my ps3 i cant play any of the songs.
also, is there a way to play songs directly from the ps3? like do you transfer it from a usb drive, or do you download directly onto it?
thanks that really worked. just pressed triangle on it and i was able to copy down all my favorite songs onto my ps3. but all the names were normal, i didnt see anything like you said you experienced. oh well thanks.
anyways i just got my ps3. so what is the psn? and where do you find it?

If you want to play the songs, plug in the USB device. For me, I use my iPod. I go under "Music", and then my iPod will be there. Then you press triangle>display all and then the songs will come up. BE FOREWARNED: THE SONGS WON'T HAVE THE NAMES YOU GAVE THEM ON THE COMPUTER. When I do this I get weird names like "ZH08" lol Tell me if this works and what's your PSN?
