belly button ring,or tongue piercing?

go for the belly button because the tongue has a bad rep (if u get what im saying)

half the people I know that have gotten their belly button pierced have had it gotten infected. A tongue piercing is much easier to care for because you mouth heals very fast. All you have to do to keep it clean is to use mouth wash. The only down side to piercing your tongue is that you tongue swells a bit for the first couple of days which makes eating awkward. Getting your belly button pierced is also more painful.

NEVER do tongue piercing. The mouth is very dirty. Belly button rings are not much better because they get infected very easily as well. There is a lot of friction involved and it get caught. If she is open to it, try to convince her to get a nose ring in lieu of bellybutton or tongue. Even an eyebrow ring is safer.

my 1st time got my bell pierced, after 6 months it was still infected, i had to sit straight so it will be straight. the infection never went away. i took the ring off.

I was so dumb i pierced again 1 year later. the same thing happened again. No matter how i take care of it, and wear the real gold jewelry it still got infected and it didn't look straight. I end up with a scare on my belly.

I heard if u get tongue ring, u have to keep it on all the time, cause the tissue grows back if u don't keep it on for certain amount of time.

I also had over 12 ear holes on my ears. those holes grew back... also infections occur back at those times. took years to fully heal!!!

Tell your sister not to get any piercing because it's so played out already, everyone and there momma has piercing, the best thing to do is to be different and classy not trashy.By the way when she gets older and wants to remove her piercing she'll have a ugly hole 4 life cause it won't close and you'll just have an ugly mark on her body.

After reading your question, I'm really very worried whether you made the right decision, because you are too young.

Every area that you want to pierce, you have the second thought whether it is right and comfortable. My advice is don't pierce any of your body, it's painful and unbearable, if you really want to pierce and you want it to be cool, pierce on your ear, not the earlobe but at the higher area, and it looks cool.

If you still want to pierce at your selected area, be prepared for the worse.

well, would she rather her tongue or her belly button sweel up to the size of a golf ball in case of infection. and which one is easier to hide if it turns yellow??

(i would go with the belly button....it sounds less painful, its hotter and she should NOT be getting a tongue peircing at 14. (only whores do that) sry for my brutal honesty. i dont mean to offend.

I think the belly button is better. You can hide it easier if you need to. Also if you have problems like infection, it's not so noticable. With a tounge piercing your tounge can swell and get really gross if it gets infected.

i personally have a tounge ring. i dont think it's gross at all, it doesnt even show unless your showing it off to people you know? well, same case with a belly button ring, but i dont know. in the end it's all up to your sister. but just as a warning to her (not to change her mind or anything), my tounge was in pain and swollen for about a week and i could only drink soup. but it was worth it in the end! =)

she's definitely too young for a piercing like either one of those. dont go for the tounge, it's really a waste. but if she loves to hang out and look cute .. definitely in the summer.. go for the bellybutton ring.. it's way better. in my opinion, a lot of girls are unattractive with tounge rings
