I got married 3 months after I met my hubby. Take the time to get to know him during the engagement. It's worth it to wait. Trust me I know from experience that a couple of more months or even a year would have made the difference between my yes and a resounding NO!!!!!Marriage is not something to be taken lightly. It's a lot harder to get out of than in to. Use the engagement as a security blanket until you decide if he is who you think he is.

3 years, engaged for 1 year

My husband and I met in sept. of "05" got engaged is oct.of 05 and we got married March 2,2006. We were in love I was only 17 and he was 22. We are still happly married we have our ups and downs but were very happy and have a wonderful 4 yr old son and I have a wonderful 14 yr old step son which he had before we meet. People always ask me do I regret getting married so young Well I don't I love my husband very much and would not change anything at all.

A little more than a year. But we were also engaged for more than three years due to me still being in college.

8 years. I said I'd never get married so don't even ask. We loved each other, owned a house together, had a son together. Sooooo I guess I gave in to the next step and am really glad I did.

2 years the first time, and 2 years the second time.

i kinda rush things abit but it was only 3 months but then she broke it off then i met another girl and waited 6 months and i caught her cheating on me so now the next time i will just wait a little over a year

Almost 3 years, and we have now been married more than 13.
