"Yahoo Answers" probably never even looked at it. If it was reported by a couple of people, it automatically gets deleted, without a moderator ever even looking at it. Which is a huge flaw in the system.

I didn't see the question you are referring to, so I can't say just why it might have gotten deleted.

However, the things you mention are, indeed, a part of the history of the Christian church...nor was every atrocity ever committed by Christians done by the RCC, as some would have you believe.

Perhaps you insinuated that because there have been atrocities that did happen that Christ is responsible for them?

Because the sorts of things you mention were certainly none of His teaching, and I would be offended if you implied that they are.

Or maybe your question was directed at Christians, accusing all of us of these things? I, personally, have never burned a witch, nor do I ever intend to...and my Dad fought in WW2 AGAINST Hitler, so I would be quite insulted if you were to imply that all Christians just sat back and "watched Hitler kill millions of people"...

Now, I've had questions and answers I've posted deleted, as well, so the notion that the Yamster favors Christians is obviously false.

I think, if you don't want to get your questions or your answers reported and deleted, you ought to play nice with the other kids....

Prior to Christianity there is not one recorded religious war..

I get myself so p!ssed off with the arrogance & ignorance of the religious fanatics in here I would like to start a war with them, and I know who would win...

Over the Yule episode, there were people screaming for lawyers, I havn't heard whether anything is being done about it, as it is our festival really not theirs, and don't forget the discrimination...

I would say your assessment was true but we the general public really has no control of what the major churches do we are told about church doctrine,if we don't like it we can change churches,or choose not to go.Why your question got deleted I really couldn't say,I got a warning for answering a question,go figure.

It's one of the more ridiculous ones I've heard of. What many of us do, and what I would advise you doing with this question I'm answering now, is deleting it once it's been up for 10 minutes or so. Once everyone has seen it - just delete and move on. Saves the trouble of violation reports and deleted accounts.

There is no 'Freedom of Speech' on YA.

You can ask and answer anything you want as long as it doesn't conflict with the beliefs of the YA Grand-Poo-Bah.

Most, if not all, of the objections come from the submitters and answerers.

They are unable to see life as it really is.

Sounds to me that you were stating historical facts. As sad as your statements were, they are true. I have seen much worse answers "skate" by without a violation. Don't know what the YA community can do about it. I think violations are based on the number of "reports".

Hey, friend! It works the other way as well. We have ALL had both questions and answers deleted. I'm a Christian and have had questions and answers deleted....The reason? "Not a question or an answer," when my response was CLEARLY an answer.

Some people make it sound as if no one ever gets a violation notice except atheists. That is far from the truth.

Maybe it wasn't the christians that got you deleted. I personally am very offended by the facts regarding their history.
