I see a lot of people here that opose same sex marriges. It sadens me. They say that now that the ban has been lifted that they will be trying to put a measure on the november ballot to overturn this ruling. What can i do? What can you do, to help the Gay community to be able to keep our civil rights? Serious answers please...

Hey guys, can you list the verses that say that it is wrong to be a homosexual. I want to collect all of them, so i can do some research. i would really appreciate it.

I wake up in the morning, i shower, watch the news and go to work. My life partener does the same. We work all day, and come home and go to the gym, not to "look ripped" but to just be healthier. We return home from the gym and proceed to have a normal evening, which sometimes includes being intimate. we discuss how we would raise our children, we watch a little tv, or read to ourselves and each other. we share our love and try to be good people. Yet i am told often on r&s that i am bound for hell. How am i damned? just because my life partner is of the same sex? that doesn't seem very "God like" to me.

i mean really. i see about 100 questions asking why atheists are in this section. What is that all about, why ask such a lame question? Why are christians so paranoid that people are out to get them? By the way i'm not an atheist, i'm a pagan.

I don't understand why the party is so split. last night on the news they said that a certain percent (can't remember numbers) of each candidate's supporters would vote for mccain if their candidate losses. Why is there such a rift?

i was in a huge warehose store like place, but it was also a bar. (i used to bartend and a lot of "bar people" were there.) i was with my boyfriend, but something had happened with us recently and when i saw this guy that iu used to date we started talking. a minute later i asked one of my boyfriend's friends where he went and the guy told me that he had left the bar without me. the guy that i use to date was still there, and his boyfriend came over to talk to us. i mentioned that my boyfriend wasn't "really" my boyfriend anymore, then spilled some of my cologne on the guy i use to date. his boyfriend said something to me and i said something back that annoyed the boyfriend and we both walked away from the guy, in opposite directions. then i went back up to the bar and a girl told me to go tell another lady something. the lady was stocking a bread shelf in the "warehouse store" part of the place. then my alarm went off.

what does it all mean? especially the part aboutmy bf

does it happen to you? i get drunk and i get so damned horny that i have to go get "some". and at the time i will take whatever i can get. when you get drunk do you feel the same way? and when you feel that way, what do you do?

Why do people feel the need to fight about religion? you will never know the truth about God until you die, so why fight about it here on earth. why can't you take what other people say, thgink about it and maybe add or re-form your opinions? contemplating other beliefs will not send you to a firey place in the underworld, it might actually enlighten you.

i'm reading a really good book that i would love to write a movie script of. but i don't want to get into any copyright or infringment trouble. how would i go about getting the rights to develop this story into a feature length movie? can i just write the script and them present it to the author or publisher and see about getting them to back me? or do i need the rights before i write a single word? i don't want to just steal the idea, i just want in on the creation of a movie version. i think it could be a good movie.
