Definitely, dinner is best. A movie you can't really talk at. And if you think dinner is to much of a date, try going to lunch. Also, it doesn't matter where you go, its only a date if thats what you make it. But if you aren't attracted to each other, its not a date no matter what you do.

go out to dinner and then go back to one of your houses and just hang out and watch a movie and stuff
