Xbox 360 headphones!?

There might be a defect with the headset! Try and get a new headset if that doesnt work it may be your system! I had the same problem bfore and it was the headset! Goodluck!

another case of the broken headphones you need a new headset thats what mainly happens when they break. go buy a new one.(they give you a cheap one with the xbox)

dont know about your 1st question but the 2nd question is the skinny headphones are much better than the fat headphones you can get them in australia about £15 in england which is about 30 australian dollars remember mate go for the skinny headphones

your switch is probly set on the left, which mutes your mic. click it to the right, and make sure yer volume is maxed, dont worry, when your volume is maxed it does not mean it is louder than hell

Maybe try changing it to speaker and see what happens and then changing it back. Have you tried the volume knob?>

did u get the cheap ones. they are a crap. throw them away and get the 52 doller ones. i have a 360 and i done the same thing they work. but there are some cheap ones but idk if they work are not. stay away from less than 30 dollers.
