I remember reading somewhere that writing or typing using all capital letters is a symptom of certain kinds of psychosis, any one know anything about this?

Well, these days I see lots of styles, and all caps is very easy to do, so I guess if it works, then go for it. It certainly moves faster than jumping from upper to lower case and back again. In another sense, I've heard that all caps is a sign of being full of a big ego. You decide how you want to appear to others, or if your ego is that big, then you wouldn't care! Haha.

In itself, no it is not a symptom of psychoses.
Perhaps a neuroses, but that would depend on how badly you reacted to being made to type in lower case letters.
I presume the person is not you as otherwise YOU WOULD HAVE TYPED LIKE THIS?
