How can I decorate my dorm room for Valentine's Day?
Does anybody have any good ideas for cute decorations for a dorm room. Nothing too weird.. just pretty/cute. :) I love pink and modern look. Not like old timey and lacey. It's a Christian college, so not bad-themed either! Thanks!
in response to answer #4... the environment is half the studying experience. and fyi.. i have a great GPA, because of my continual cute bedroom.

how about cutting red, pink, and other valentine-y colors into strips. Then make the first strip into a ring. Then put the second strip through the the ring and make THAT into a ring.
Do you follow? If you keep repeating that, you'll get a chain of festive-ness. Its really cool looking once its finished.

Get colored paper (red and pink, I guess or whatever color you want) and cut out heart outlines to put on your walls. Think of them as wall decals or something graphic for your walls. Look up wall decals online for inspiration. You could also get those jelly things that you can put on your window in a valetine's motif. If you have lamps, you can drape pink or white sheer fabric on the lampshade. Get some new bedsheets or pillowcases or find some cheap fuzzy pink and white throw pillows from Ross or another similar store. I'm not sure if you're allowed to have candles in your dorm room, but you can check out an Illuminations store and see if they have any valentine's day candles or accessories to put on your tables or windowsills. If you can't have candles, how about fresh flowers in pink and white colors? They'll look pretty and smell great. Have fun!

placed purple scarves or some style of purple fabrics over the lamps colorings. it will make the complete room look purple. yet make beneficial that's not too warm so the fabric would not capture on hearth.

First, pick up the dirty clothes, dust, vacuum/sweep.
Open your books and put them on the desk.
Now sit down and work on your homework and study. Don't worry about whether your room is "cute" or not.
