I love Nas I cant really formulate an opinion about his albums title because I havent actually heard the album and got to see how he executed it and the overall concept of it played out...but I really hope Nas aint trying to ride off this contraversy like he did with the Hip Hop is Dead album cause all that bs just over shadowed one of his better works of late....but the album cover IS DOPE...a lot of people wont even get the subtle message from the picture on the cover...I think that once you see that you kind of get the idea of what Nas himself thinks about the word

I think it's his choice what he calls an album, and he must have a laugh at white folks like me trying everything in their power not to call it by name when we're buying it. And I don't blame him - it is pretty funny, unless you have no sense of humour.

But on a serious note, he's making a statement and/or stirring up a lot of publicity, and those two things are always going to divide people. If it really bothers anyone that much, then nobody's forcing them to buy the album.

Its controversial alright but i respect what he did nas is the man. Also, Definitely With First Answer. Lol. True Tho.

I really hate that word, but Nas is a great artist so hopefully his album will have something to say about the use of it.

i think he is just trying to show people that he is not offended by the word in any aspect, wheteher it ends with the "a" or the "er". this is just a spit in the face 2 all the racist people out there, like yeah cal me a ___ i don't care. Kinda reminds me of something 50 said (and i dont like 50 but i agree with this point) He said when Camron started calling him Curtis that he thought he was gonna be offended. so 50 said "why would i be offended by someone calling me curtis, my mom gave me that name, that dude is a moron....so now curtis is the name of the album" So i relate that back to the Nas title. I picture Nas saying "Y'all wanna call me a n____, then n____ is the name of the album. i think it's gonna have a lot of non hip hop fans talking...but the hip hop fans...man all we care about if the sh*t is good

i think its fine its his right i mean of course people are going to be afraid to say it or reference to it but i think its fine it s his expreession his story although white people aing gonna like tryin to buy a cd called ****** or lookin at it it is going to bring about the question white people have been askin gforever "if u guys say it to each other and do it publicly whats teh big deal for us?" but it is going to make comedians hella money for jokes about wehite nas fans
