Unable to view my desktop on my monitor or anything for that matter?

Can;t seem to get my screen to show my desktop or anything on my computer. I know the cable is fine and the moniter works as I was able to test the cable and moniter with another computer.

I have had this problem before but all I had to do to resolve it was to unplug and replug th cable and it would fix the issue.

But the problem has to be something major, simply because the computer seems to run but I should still be able to hear at the least my tv on it, as it only would require me to hit the Live button on the remote.

I have tried to reseat the graphic card in the spot it is at, even moved it to the other one as well, switched out the memory, yelled at it, cursed at it as well, did a rain dance for good measures, changed out the graphic card to a older PCI card to even see if anything would work.( not even sure that would work but is it what I had on hand lol)

I know it is not the cable or the monitor as I am using the cable and the moniter as I type this(
