is it wrong to make my pet rabbit drink tap water when i buy expensive bottled water for my family and my dog?

My dog is spoiled rotten, and I spend a ton of money on her because she gives me in return, some love and affection no one else can while my husband is on the raod all week long. I don't really feel that my rabbit, or should i say the kids rabbit, deserves to drink bottled water, when tap water is cheaper. If the rabbit was capable of loving me and sleeping with me, protecting me and loving me the way our dog is, i might feel differently. do you think i am wrong?

City tap water is bad for rabbits. The chlorine can be very hard on the rabbits bones. It can cause them to become brittle. So you may want to consider giving your kids' rabbit something better than tap water.

I raise rabbits and live in the country and we have well water so I do not have to worry about all the added unwanted things that are put in city water.

Yes. You clearly don't give the rabbit enough attention as they are very loving creatures.

Try neutering it; that will stop the hormones acting on it.

In reality the bottled water would probably do more harm than good; but you should at least look after every pet in your household to an acceptable standard you may want to think about giving it to a shelter who will re-home it to an environment where it will be appreciated and cared for.
