What Kind Of Stuff Shall I Put In My Bearded Dragons Cage?

I got a bearded dragon as a Christmas present and hes/she about 7 weeks old.

At the moment all he/she has is his UV light, heat light a big water bowl and a small log that it likes to sit in during the day

im just wondering what kind of stuff i should put in its cage to keep it entertained etc

today he/she was climbing up the front of its cage and staring out the glass, is this because its bored?

You can add hidey holes. they love poking around and seeing whats new. so you could try moving the 'furniture' around every so often. but not too often.

    they like to see changes

also you can add a rock. for he to bask on, sharpen down his nails and help with shedding!

but dont put it directly under your heat lamp or source, as it might get tooooo hot and burn your beardie

hope you 2 get along well

    happy new year!

He wasn't staring out of the glass, he was staring at the glass, at his own reflection. He must have though it was another beardie :)

Toys etc are not needed for reptiles as they do not 'play' like mammals and birds do. Agree with putting some hiding places in, though.
