They came three times to Madina to kill Prophet and all his followers. Muslims defeated Athiests in every battle with the help of armed Angels.

When Mohammad the last Prophet of God was dying, Gabriel was crying. Mohammad asked the reason of his crying and he answered that this is my last trip to earth and seeing you last time. Because Allah has completed the religion Islam with you and no any Prophet will come after you. Mohammad died same day..

We don`t speculate on our prophets` words like previous nations did (to whom prophets came). They ridiculed their prophets and killed them, we believe in our prophet`s words 100 %.
