Why do christians report so many questions and answers?

Is it because their faith is so weak that this is the only response that they are capable of?

Update:

Well Commoncents, the only questions that were deleted were religiously based questioning the accuracy of the christian belief. That provides a pretty clear indication of their background.

The questions were in no way insulting, pergaps a little arkward for believers, but that's all. No valid reason for reporting

Update 2:

Sorry Patrick but anybody who used this method to protect themselves is pond scum and probably only semiliterate too.

Perhaps they haven't evloved properly yet.

Because they're petty, sniveling, pond scum who are completely devoid of honor. There is nothing lower than an informer.

I would not assume anything Sir, you know what is said about assuming possibilities. Just quit insulting people and let people have their say their opinion and chill- no one on this site is going anywhere with their answers you will not be the next president because of your opinion, so relax and go with it instead of bashing people. If you do not like being reported then do not give anything to report. Simple.

Who said it was the 'Christians' doing the reporting... I got a couple violations last week and I know it was not a Christian that reported me. Because I got reported for saying Merry Christmas. Try not to assume or generalize when you word your questions.

So we are not allowed to defend ourselves when somebody violates the rules regarding the way that we should treat eachother? Such as the answer above that calls us pond scum? I would encourage EVERYBODY (not just Christians)to report anybody who violates the respect that we should all be sharing here.

If you are here just to see how many people you can irritate, then please go somewhere else.

    Same reason evangelical atheist's do?

I usually get at least four violations a week because of reports made by the evangelical atheist's. Many times they are accompanied by an email from them telling me that they reported me. And usually it's for calling them evangelical atheist's.

What makes you so sure it is a Christian doing the reporting? Does Yahoo let you know who reported the question/ answer or are you just assuming? This question is a dig in itself.

No, the faith is strong, but we refuse to let ignorant people insult us and God whenever they feel like it, even when they do try to disguise their insults.

Sometimes, yes.(Those questions questioning the word of the bible..etc..)But also sometimes, some of the questions are rude and provoking(Those like, is jesus a homo..etc..?. I have to admit that.

i think people that join a group or belief system that gives one a view of being morally superior causes one to be more judgemental and socially comparative.

    i.e. ted haggard

or they just have nothing else to do...

I would say it's due to weak faith and/or lack of knowledge. And possibably the fact that they are overly sensitive.
