Why is my fathers' belly is so huge? Pls. Help. tnXxX!?
He asked me why is his stomach very big. I think it is equivalent to a 12 months old pregnant. It it somewhat hard to touch. I'm worried about him. He loves eating and drinking beer. Why is this so?

You answered your own question. Your father consumes more calories daily than he burns off.. and he probably eats before he goes to bed.. Lot's of men are happy with the status quo until they have a stroke or heart attack.. they always think it will happen to someone else until it happens to them. Help him cut back on fatty foods.. I love to eat too,but watch what I eat.. and get plenty of exercise. Good luck..

It could be something as simple as fat or a beer gut but it could also be a build up of fluid (ascites). If he is worried about it or has any discomfort I'd tell him to see a doctor.
