Actually looking for a versatile set of strings. Currently playing a Fender J Bass, 4 String.

When I start up my computer I get three home pages.. in the tabs.. I have to close out two tabs and keep the one,but If I surf anyplace else and come back, I have three again?

Cannot reinstall windows vista. Because we cannot find the drivers. Have reinstalled vista in the past with no problems,but the computer will not recognize the hard drive.. The warranty is up.

When I turn on the headlights, the gauges drop.. There has to be a short, but not sure where to even begin looking. During the day with the lights not needed, the gauges remain normal.

We set the alarm and an hr. or so later, it goes off.. We go outside to shut it off, reset it again and the alarm goes off.. Dealer isn't quite sure what is going on. Can the alarm be disconnected? We normally just leave it unlocked after a couple times... especially at 3am in the morning.. Thanks..

Any ideas what the cause might be.. It has 64,000 miles.. Maybe an oxygen sensor? Would it be safe to drive until Monday? Oil,, fluids are full.. Seems to run the same

My father will be getting married in Aug on his 79th birthday. We've only met the woman a couple times and she seems nice. Just not sure how to go about giving a toast speech in honor of the new couple. Usually I'm seldom at a loss to speak in front of a group,but not knowing his bride that well, I want to be tactful. Our mother passed 12 years ago and I thought he would never remarry. Both are Catholic and she seems rather intelligent.. My father was a prominent engineer and well educated.. I would like to keep it short. I'm usually good off the cuff...but this time is a little different.

We were hiking with family who live in Moraga last Sunday. On the way to Redwood Regional Park I noticed a lake that was below the ridge on the left side going towards the Park. Anyone know if that is drinking water or used for recreation? My brother in law has only lived in Moraga two years and doesn't know either.

Fuses, bulbs are good. Dash lights, signals work too. Any suggestions?

Forgot how to reset it.. The mechanic changed oil yesterday,but forgot to reset. I thought I had to put it in neutral or reverse with the key on and it sets itself. Anyone know? Thanks!

He moved back about 19 months ago. Works part-time as a waiter because he wants to model or work in theatre. He has no degree and when he moved out 10 years ago, he was intent on acting,but when he got to his destination, he would not take the work. It was beneath him. Now he's still here paying minimal rent( under 150.00) when he pays, and has no intentions of moving or trying to better himself.. I realize you can;'t come between a mother and her "fawn",but this is getting a little too much.. Granted he does dishes and sometimes mops,but usually takes off to avoid any conflict with me.. In the beginning I was nice,but he needs to grow up and be responsible.. Our teenage sons think he needs to grow up. He's not doing anything to really show motivation

If I remove the drain cap in the back yard, the water will flow to the back,but If I leave it on, it drains to our bathtub in the back room. The main bathroom does not back up. I was told it might be the 2" drain line to the main from the kitchen. That is what is clogged.. There would no roots or trees involved, just food particles. Would a commercial drain cleaner work to clean the food or should I get an auger.

When I run the kitchen faucet, it backs up into our bathtub in the back of the house. the other bath tub doesn't back up,but the drain in the back yard, If I take the cap off(3"), the water comes out of the drain and the tub drains.

I'm thinking maybe a vacuum leak or something.. the car has 74k and I don't think it's the catalytic converter or the oxygen sensors.. If I recall, once I adjusted a small hose on the top of the motor and it was fine.. just can't remember which one.. The car doesn't have the smell when the catalytic converter goes bad.. Any ideas? thanks!

When soloing, how do you approach playing outside? Robben Ford, Larry Carlton Garth Webber, Chris Cain all do a great job of playing outside.

Just got an oil change for my 2003 Chevy Tahoe,but they did not trip the light off. so when I start the vehicle, the indicator reads, need oil change. Anyone know how to shut that off? thanks in advance.

Stepson moved back, chooses to work part-time and decided to take a few classes in acting. Sleeps in, does dishes in the evenings, never see him after that. Has goals that are rather unrealistic and isn't really actively pursuing them either. Has two cell phones a hair replacement bill each month wants to take karate now and spends a lot of his time at the gym(which his father pays) and starbucks. I think he needs to do something constructive with his life. He has no medical insurance or dental either. He has the option,but chooses to spend it on non important things. My wife gets money from him,but usually under a 100.00 a month. What would be a fair amount to charge?

Not sure what the cause. Maybe from swimming too much( the clorine). or stress.. Not sure. He's only 13. I plan on taking him to the MD tomorrow,but It seems like it might be stress. He has nothing to stress about. Any suggestions? Dry eyes?
