how to unlock a blackberry 8820?

how to unlock the sim card, I am using it on another country, and if you know, where is the sim card located?

    The SIM card should be located under the battery.

    I order to unlock a BlackBerry device you need to get an unlock code from your carrier (I have been able to get ones for my BlackBerry directly from T-Mobile for free) or you will need to purchase an unlock code from a vendor (GSMPhoneSource.com is one such vendor). They will provide you with the instructions once they get you the unlock code.
