My laptop keyboard has malfunctioned. Is there any way to solve the problem?

I have a Fujitsu laptop, which is about 3 years old by now. Currently, I'm using a desktop to post this question. Some of my keys in my laptop has malfunctioned. When I press the following characters, other characters are displayed.

INPUT --> OUTPUT

I --> 5

J --> 1

K --> 2

L --> 3

M --> 0

[ --> ENTER

; --> +

I have not spilled any liquids on my keyboard nor have I literally hit hard on it. Why does this happens and what are some ways to solve the problem?

    It seems like your "[Fn] Number Lock" key must be on. Your corresponding characters for the letters you mentioned seem to correspond to the little blue numbers on the right hand corners of my same letter keys.

    Do you have a "Fn" button on your keyboard? If so, hold it down and press the "NumLk", or the numberlock function key (mine is F11, but I don't know if it's the same on the Tujitsu laptop).

    Hope that works. Good luck!

    it seems like you may have hit the function key on your keyboard. I'm not sure quite what to do, because your keyboard is different than mine but hit fn + section lock

    it could be a software glitch or maybe the keys moved around or something.

    take it to best buy or some place like that and see what they can do for you.

    if not, fujitsu could probably repair it for you.

    it should have a driver for the keyboard, try downloading a new driver for the keyboard and reinstall it to see if that fixes the problem. Try going to this website to find it:

    I believe you have the numberlock for the laptop on. Turn it off?

    reinstall the keyboard in "remove or install programs" in control panel and installinng it again or get a new keyboard and plug it in the usb and install it.
