Cold climate question... gas?
Are there winter and summer gasoline mixtures? In the summer BP gas works great, decent mileage. Not in the winter though. Then I switch to Shell and get better performance. Any insight?
Why would there be a variance between performance of the BP from winter to summer? Shouldn't the mix vary proportionally?

THEIR ARE DIFFERENT MIXES TO FUEL IN DIFFERENT SEASONS, NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE BUT THEY HELP PREVENT FUEL FREEZING OR JELLING, I KNOW THE OIL COMPANY'S CLAIM IT COSTS THEM MORE IN ADDITIVES IN WINTER MONTHS AND THAT IS PART REASON FOR HIGHER GAS PRICES

There is a difference. Usually spring and fall are where the problems are, because they will say switch to the winter blend and then it gets warm for a week. I know it is a pain, but we stuck with it.
