Bad thing....get out ASAP.....I did
And get over it people. Not many people want to live there anymore. People are sick of the pollution, traffic and all the other crap that California offers.

It's definitely beautiful out there however financially one can take a major hit. I had a friend that lived in Florida that just moved out to California. His yearly rent costs more than the 2nd mortgage he took out on his home in Florida!
If you have the money, California is definitely the place to be. But many parts are very illusional....meaning one can get caught up in the glitz and glamour of not only LA but also San Francisco (i.e. Pacific Ocean, etc.).

Sorry that you are in California,sure it may fit you and that is good.
My wife and her family lived in California but they moved from there 30 years ago ,they just were not happy there.

Depends. Do YOU like where you live? If the answer is yes, then it's a good thing. If the answer is no, then, I guess you should move.

I dunno, that's where I live, and it seems pretty nice to me. Of course, I'd rather have been raised a Japanese. They're just awesome.

I had friends who moved away. They thought it would be cheaper. They could not make their mortgage payment. California is Beautiful! Expensive, but so WORTH IT!
