My ASUS DVD RAM does not recognise DVDs?
I bought a DVD RAM Drive, ASUS Quie Track DRW 1814L 18X18 DVD+R. The latest. The one with Light Scribe Feature. How come it does not recognise some (home made Movie) DVDs?
I have tested before, those DVDs work well in Samsung DVD Rom, and some other brands.
But how come this ASUS is so exceptionally picky? This is so annoying!
Grateful advise me if you have a trick, configuration, patch, driver, or anything to fix this.
FYI I haven't activated any DVD region.
Many thanks in advance, It happens quite often and I am getting desperate here :(
Thanks for the response, that helps me getting better figure.
I was just thinking, this ASUS is a bit more expensive. I actually kinda like it as it does have less noise, stronger optic, better buffering and a way more stable....
But this not-recognizing-discs problem... Arr.. So desperating...

Best way is to return that ASUS and get a Samsung. Some DVD-ROM have protection against copy discs
