Can anyone name any good rock songs with easy to learn basslines?
I'd appreciate the titles to any good rock, metal, industrial (and all the subgenres that apply) that have easy to play basslines that would be great for a beginner level player. I would greatly appreciate tabs as well. THANKS!

Depends how competent/confident you are but "Alright Now" by FREE is a good one to start with, also "Scooby Snacks" by FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS is quite simple. You want simpler than that? Try "How Long" by ACE or "Everybody Hurts" by REM.

Any AC/DC. The basslines are usually single note/string rhythm patterns. Look up "Bass Tabs" on the Internet and you'll get TONS of websites of free stuff.

My little sister can play it! Very cool too because it opens the song. Keep practicing and good luck!

Blitzkrieg Bob - Ramones (only three notes to memorise)
Communication Breakdown - Led Zeppelin (the main riff is easy anyway, in the chorus it gets a bit more tricky but still quite easy)
Feel Good Inc. - Gorrilaz (Nice little riff, the first thing i ever learned)
Maxwell Murder - Rancid (everybody keeps going on about how ridiculously hard this is, well it's not hard alright. I picked it up after about 5 minutes)
