Dell “Vostro” Laptop problem…?

My wife got a Dell laptop, “Vostro 1500” , everything has been great until last week.

She turn it on one morning about four days ago and got a Blue Screen. No error message but it says

“Checking file systems on D. This volume is dirty: 1 file completed; 2 file completed; 3 file completed.

Then it will open the desk top and you can continue on as if nothing ever happened. How do we get rid of the Blue Screen when the computer is first turned on?

Any sites anyone can lead us to that will assist in clearing up this little problem will be greatly appreciated.

If the clock does'nt run in any respect (potential the time does no longer replace even while the gadget is on with potential grant) then its a difficulty with the appliance.......attempt reinstalling ur OS. yet , if the time u set is getting reset (to a minimum of a few thing like 12:00 am) each and every time u restart ur computer , then its a difficulty with the hardware (CMOS Battery). attempt changing the battery and u would be fantastic..... please provide feedback........
