Toshiba TV Problems?

I have a Toshiba Tv that in not bringing in the full picture until it is on for some time. What could be going wrong with it? Is it worth fixing or should I buy a new one?

It sounds like you may have a bulb issue. If you have DLP TV the bulbs in them can go bad and most likely will go bad after either 1. long periods of use (3000 hours total on the bulb over it's lifespan) 2. Being turned off and on repeatedly. I don't know whether or not you are using a DLP TV but irregardless, you may want to call a TV repair place in your area and explain the problem as well as have your bulb checked. Replacing a bulb for a TV could be potentially expensive. I own a Toshiba cinema series TV and the cost of the bulb for my TV is $500, but mine is a DLP TV. If you end up with a potentially expensive 'house call' from the TV repair or get a price quote on replacing a bulb and it's outrageous, you may want to consider replacing the TV. Hope this helps some!

i guess something wrong with the bulb in the tv, but not really too sure though, you can go to 88db website and search for repairman who can repair your tv with a reasonable price, i guess it would be better to check 1st before you repair, is it worth to repair or to get a new one.....hope this helps
