What are those rubber band looking things that many college football players are wearing on their arms and why

Are they highlighting player biceps? For sweat protection?

    there called biceip bands when there small like that they originally were used for the purpose of keeping sweat away but most players just wear it now because they think it looks cool

    They go to the NFL and get paid or try out for the CFL or Arena football. If that does not work, they have to find a job elsewhere.

    My brother-in-law plays for NFL and I asked him that a while ago. He said the little guys wear them to make their muscles look bigger.

    Well some are livestrong like bracelets and say things...others are sweat bands...
