you must be Eligible for a Clearance, which means US Citizenship.

In the Air Force you have Public Affairs which has slots for photographers and also there is Combat Camera which includes most of the other aspects of photography. All of Public Affairs jobs require a secret clearance or higher and Combat Camera requires Top Secret clearances so it is a little harder to get into them from that standpoint.

you ought to use being a military photographer to get the needed training. As your in the army you may then additionally make it your activity to get out and approximately to construct a "e book" of artwork to tutor while your out. look on the form of imagery you need to make money at now. decide the place you're able to be to take them and use the leave time to pass and make photographs. i know two photographers who did only this and are making sturdy livings now. only bear in mind. save your head down while the shooting starts. something an dazzling style of military photographers forget and get harm. digital camera can get replaced, heads can't.
