Has anyone been to the Nintendo World Store NYC since 1/1/08? If so, are the lines still crazy? I need a Wii!

My son's birthday is coming up next week & I don't know how early I should get in line.

Update 2:

I finally got a Wii today!

The was long, I got there 7am & was #58 but did get in when the store opened at 9. Some people were there as early at 4am.

    I work a couple of blocks down from the store and the line is still ridiculous. People start lining up around 2am. I was able to walk right in and buy one back in October during my lunch break, so hopefully once the people who couldn't get one for Christmas finally get one, it will calm down a bit.

    I am sure in about a month things will calm down. After the holiday people are still going crazy to get that late present or they just want to get what their friend got.
