i see that ARCA racing has a race at the Rockingham speedway in May, why can't Nascar have a race there?

NASCAR dropped this venue for a "preppy" track and took our Labor Day Southern 500 to the land of fruits and nuts.

So go for it ARCA.

Not enough seats, The Rock is in the middle of no where, bottom-line NASCAR can't make as much money as they can out in Vegas. Many of the drivers still practice and test at Rockingham and Concord(Lowe's) since they are the closest Speedway to many raceteams in the Carolina's

Rockingham lost its last NASCAR race in 2004. Up until that time it was the second race on the schedule. Right after Daytona.

Money--So many Cookie Cutter tracks of 1 1/2 miles were built and Rockingham lost its date because of Money!!!!!

They have a brand new track in kentucky and are trying to sue to get a nascar race there. The rock was rough.

They took it off the schedule a few years ago. I think it would take a lot of work to get it ready for Cup racing, and they would have to cut another track off the schedule to add it back.

Because they won't sell enough seats and the place is out of dated......needs some huge upgrades.
