my mom wants to see if she can find the factory parts (brake pads) to her 2007 Lexus RX350 without going to the dealership such as the brand name

I don't necessarily agree that you will be getting better quality brake pads at the dealership. In my experience the reason you pay so much at a dealership is because their mechanics are certified to work on the vehicles and have received special training. Therefore, they charge a lot more for their labor. This is will you get extra costs.
I'm not sure exactly what brake pads are the factory ones. I have read however that if you install anything besides the ones the dealership will sell you that you might violate your warranty.
I would look into this further before you install them.

Brakes pads from a dealer will last longer then that of ones you would buy at local parts store just for the fact of quality from the dearlership is much higher.
