i loved this quote. does anyone have anymore like this one?

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and falling in love. You learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises. You learn that loving doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't always mean security, and you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much. After a while you learn to build all your dreams on today because tomorrows ground is to uncertain for dreams, and futures have a way of falling down in the blink of an eye. After a while you learn to accept being let down with your head held with the grace of a woman and not the grief of a child. After a while you learn to plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone else to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really are strong, that you really do have self worth, you can endure, and you learn...with every goodbye, you learn.

I love quotations and I have just come across one of Winston Churchill's, it does, however, pale into insignificance against yours, Winston Churchill said," I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle". It is a great metaphor for the age we live in.

This is a good one from Grey's Anatmoy. Meredith says it:

"At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. It's like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. And it's not so important happy ever after, just that its happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you , and once in a while people may even take your breath away."

The same old ladder has rested, in the dark of that room for years... its many rungs, passed days have tested... and yet been left in the dark for years.

It's sturdy and can carry anyone that can climb. It can help you reach as high as you'd try. It can give hope of success just upon sight, and can hold you, support you in a blink of an eye... But, there it is. We have it. And forgotten it. We don't know its there to reach higher.

Open the door, pull up a shade and shed light on what's there, waiting. Rise and reach. Hold onto what you want as its there for you -- grab it.

(I just made that up, now)

P.S. -- Ouch, on the Thumbs Down.. (critics)

There are a million song that you could use but the best thing you could say is something from you heart. Pretend he isn´t your b/f but a stranger and explain how you feel and what kind of relationship you want. Good luck.

I like that! (never heard it before today, that I can recall).

I memorized this mind befuddling phrase once:

I know you believe you understand

    what you think I said,

but I am not sure you realize

    that what you heard

    is not what I meant.

blah blah blah, that quote is all mushy crap. quotes about love are soo queer. quuotes about life and spitituality and the world and about thinking about things are actual quotes.
