can monkeys really squeeze a banana out of it's peel?

and if so, why can't I? can anyone in general do it? was tarzan able to do it?

Update:

what!? ha, i can carefully open a sugar packet and put it in a drink, but that doesn't mean I can squeeze a banana from it's peel!

    I would imagine they could, I've seen a vervet monkey carefully open a sugar packet and drink the contents so I think they could definitely squeeze the banana. Can people do it? Not sure on that one.

    Of course you can do it, but it's messy. Monkeys don't care.
