Where is a romantic vacation in North America outside of the US?

Puerto Vallarta is amazing! My husband and I went there for our honeymoon, and there is nothing like white sand beaches, clear blue water, and the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. You can find several great all-inclusive resorts in the area for very reasonable prices, which is wonderful for romantic vacations because you can get all your meals, drinks, and room service without ever having to take out your wallet (except for tip). We stayed at Dreams, which has a private beach, and all the rooms are oceanview. If you like a little adventure on your vacation, it's also very easy to book tours and activities at your hotel.
