do any body no how to fix a DNS error for ps3?

everytime i try to sign in to psn it say theres a problem with connection this is a DNS error.

then i cant play call of duty 4

need help/advice

    Turn off media servers.

    Network Settings > Media Servers > Disabled

    I had a simlar problem with my wii and it was because i entered the wrong primary and seconary DNS in the network settings. find out what your DNS if you have a router log on to the router settings and look in status, it should be there. Enter the corrent DNS in the PS3. i can't tell you how to though as i don't have a PS3.

    u may nd 2 giv it 5 mins 2 connect properly - i hav same prob

    use wire not wireless big connection difference
