Write Out A Rough Copy Of The Speech And Break It Up Into Small Sections. Learn Each Section One At A Time And Eventually You Will Have It. Make Sure You Practise It Everyday Though, So It Doesn't Slip Out Of Your Mind!

easy.
after you gather all the information split your speech in sections.
try to make them small, i would say 10 min sections, and reherse. that is another way to keep yourself in the time limit.
then for each section write a small phrase of the main idea.
so when you are up there speaking, you will have a paper with your main ideas, and begining with these "thoughts" the rest of the section will come to your head automaticaly.
p.s. you will have to have studied your info first though.

The recording thing is easiest for me.
That's how I learned my lines for acting class.
You record yourself giving the speech and then you play it over and over again while saying it out loud to the tape.
It's kind of like singing along with the radio.

I just took my public speaking class last semester, I practiced my speech over and over in 15 minute intervalls, for about 2 hours once I gave my speech it was almost natural. Helps out alot.

oooh when I have to memorize speechs i always write the speech on notecards/flashcards. then i just practice like crazy. whereever i go i bring the flashcards and practice. if your teacher lets you use flashcards during your speech make sure you only have cues on your flashcards. that way if you get nervous you dont get too dependent on reading off of your flash cards. also practice your speech on your friends or family. practicing it in front of others helps you get more confident and also you can ask for their opinions on the content and your delievery. :) good luck!!

break the speech down into sections. the memorize each section separately.
start with the first section - after you have that down pact start on the second section, then say the first and second section together -- keep going like that until you have it all memorized.
write key words on index cards to help jog your memory in case you get stumped.

Write some on your hand and make it short, or make a few little cards and look at them as youre reading

try reading everything you write out loud, it makes it faster to learn and easier. GOOD LUCK!!!
