I wouldn't try it, you never know who is out there. Find an available friend or family member. Schools also have after-school programs.

I have never used it... But I just looked at it. I just saw an episode of the simpsons today where they hire a babysitter from this one service and she turns out to be this person from the "most wanted show"... so even though its just a cartoon, after seeing that I personally wouldnt use it. Just find someone you know and trust in real life... but its up to you not me.

It's a great company! They have this four-step screening process with available background checks, reviews left by other parents and you can read sitter resumes and check out their experience. Plus, they have a whole library of tips and helpful hints - most of them related to safety.

i can't judge this by experience because i have never used that site before, but i think it would be a better idea to have someone you personally know and trust taking care of your children rather than some stranger. wouldn't you feel more comfortable that way too? =)
