why are girls afraid to fart???

Very unusual questions. Everyone farts of course. Girls don't fart because it's not only embarassing but not appropriate to fart in public. Just imagine people pooping in public, how gross would that be? It's the same way with farting. LoLz. . . .

I'm not to afraid to fart. When I'm around family and friends, I let it go. But if I'm around people that i don't know, then Ur gonna see a girl turn red within a second. Anyways, some girls think that's bad manners, and my opinion, I have very good manners, but at the same time, I'm a free spirit.

I think it may have to do with us being told we are supposed to be ladylike. It is a natural part of life but a lot of women still see it as gross behavior and improper to just let it rip in front of anyone, especially a partner or a crush. Hope that sheds a little light.

i agree with another comment girls have been brought up differently, like my father would make his farts into jokes and everything, and when my little brother farts my father would laugh and say dumb things like there goes that mouse in the race car again but if i did it my mother would say something like eww thats disgusting but i'd rather not be uncomfortable, i think that for most girls they don't want to smell bad and they'll take things to seriously and if lets say a boy they like jokes around saying "thats just disgusting do you normally do that in publc? how rude." they'll probably start crying or some sh**. good thing i'm not like that, though i'd probably say "how nice of you to say so."

A lot of girls never learn how to fart. It's really sad. They don't know what they're missing out on.

I think it's because of how women are percieved by society. If a woman farts whenever she'd want to, it takes away from her feminity. Guys are allowed to, however, because I guess being messy and dirtyy (for a lack of better words) is a sign of masculinity? SO, public farting = masculinity?

Farting or Passing Gas is not polite to do in front of anyone. Do you take a dump in front of people? No. So passing gas is a personal private thing.

We girls are afraid of fart is because its so disgusting but dont get me wrong its just datsome people dont say excuse me and it can be at a wrong time like eating your food with your girlfriend and you just blew wind,or it can be at a meeting and somebodys siting real close to you and you just cut the cheese and dont say excuse me!!!
