What are the best earbud earphones for sound/strength?
I need a pair of earbud earphones for my iPod. I had a pair of Sony EX51's that lasted me about 3 years (albeit with the cable rubber starting to break up after about 4 months).
I would like something that will sound good and will last as long as possible. I would like to spend around US$50, but am willing to pay up to US$100 for something that will last longer and sound great.
I listen to a range of music from metal to psytrance, jazz to hip-hop, so they need to be fairly natural sounding, not too harsh, with solid but not over-exagerated bass.

ok i had some sonys too which i loved. though the sound was great and they were amazingly comfortable. then i tried the Bose and the sound on them blows the sonys out of the water. they run about $99 and they are not sound isolating. once you decide on the proper size of ear buds (3 are included s-m-l) they are quiet nice and worth the $$!! hope this helped!!

The best headphones that fit into your ear are Bose In Ear Headphones. They run around US$100 at any electronics store. I bought a pair myself and i am very pleased with them. Best sound quality and they will last you a very long time.

Some people said I'm crazy when I got a pair of Sennheiser CX500, kinda pricey but I love the sound and it works beautifully with my iPod. and unlike some of the other earbuds out there that youe ears get fatigued the CX 500 still stay consistent and you don't get tired listening to your music using them.
try checking it out. or check jbl reference or the bose triports.
