If you mean lawn mowing, I charge 7$ per hour if I use my mower and trimmer, but that is in a small town and would be rock bottom. For a large town, I would go at least 10$ per hour and for small lawns that take a half hour or less, I would have a discount of 6$

Some customers give me 20$ an hour, but these are wealthy customers and elderly ladies on social security probably would find someone else.

If you have a garden/lawn tractor, they use more gas so would cost more for the gas and to pay off the cost of the tractor.

It takes a lot of energy to mow lawns all summer and you may be walking 20-30 miles a day.

It truly relies upon on your community. In my community the yards are very small, so $20 looks the going fee, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it basically takes 10-quarter-hour to mow our backyard. If the yards are larger, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, $30-$50 would be a extra aggressive cost.

What are your equipment costs, overhead?

If you figure $15/mowing hour, you should be OK.
