If OSU is to win this game, they will have to do it with ball control and shorten the game. LSU will come out quick with no huddle offense and tire the defense of the Buckeyes. If LSU builds an early lead, OSU will be done as they don't have the weapons on offense to play from behind.

Ohio State's victory will have little to do with seeking revenge from last year's Florida game.

Ohio State just as a MUCH better defense than any team LSU has played all year. LSU won at least 3 of its games by getting lucky on trick plays, going for it on 4th downs, faking punts, etc etc.

Ohio State's defense will shut that kind of stuff DOWN and smother them. Without being able to pull off those kinds of stunts, LSU doesn't have the ability to settle in and just play good, solid football.

Plus, despite all the talk, Ohio State is the team that actually has more SPEED - see the link below.

Edit: Oh, yeah - James Lauranaitis will personally force at least 6 turnovers during the game, and will probably score on at least 2 of them. Tressel has him in his cage right now, feeding him meat scraps and tauntinig him to get him good and angry LOL

to quote Corso "not so fast my friend".. not saying what you predict won't happen.. it honestly could.. but LSU returns a healthy Glen Dorsey for this game and Matt Flynn is ready to go (he was out for the SECCG).. LSU has dominated against the run all season long and has had the most trouble out of teams with solid short passing games (Kentucky).. the only exception to this is Arkansas and that was an injury plagued game for LSU.. I do look for a lot of hard up the gut running from Hester and the occasional 2 back set with Hester and Holliday to maximize the speed of Holliday.. this won't be the key however.. the key will be Early Doucet.. if he gets the hot hand OSU is done.. Doucet can take over a football game in a hurry

in the end I think LSU just has more weapons than OSU.. and will be able to rotate fresh bodies in there (like Perrilioux, Holliday and Williams) to keep wearing on OSU.. the best chance that OSU has is honestly Les Miles.. the players probably won't lose this game as much as a stupid call or 4 by Miles might cost them the game.. but he IS lucky and luck plays a part of it all

OSU wins 34-14. Tressel will outcoach Les Miles, and Beanie Wells and Brandon Saine will rack up yards with more of a running back by committee style. Through the air is bit trickier on both sides of the ball, but I just see way too much experience in big games by OSU for LSU to try and manage.

If the Tigers win ... they are going to be nationwide Champion and between the final communities interior the history of school soccer specially by using their protection. If the Tide wins ... they are going to be the nationwide Champions with a great protection in spite of what anybody else says. This incorporates Oklahoma State and Boise state followers. I won't evaluate them as between the final communities in history by using fact they gained't have finished undefeated. i do no longer care who wins .. I root for Georgia and no different... yet i'm going to be pissed if it finally ends up in yet another low scoring shielding conflict. great inspite of the undeniable fact that they are shielding video games are uninteresting as hell!

I agree with you, Ohio State will challenge Flynn to throw the ball more, leading to a close victory for them. It all depends on how well Boeckman and Flynn play. Whoever plays better wins the game for their team. Sorry Tigers, I'm picking Boeckman.

My theory: Ohio State cannot beat anyone who's team colors are blue and orange. So, I think it is safe to say they will beat LSU. :-)
