What is your absolute favourite website?
I'm not into these things like "digg" where people just flag good pages. I want to know what is the one website you always go look at, be it your home page, or one that is just in your bookmarks/favorites..
But also, why? What is it about this one?
My favourite is newsnow.co.uk, and I have the search for "liverpool" stored in my bookmarks, so it then goes and gets all the news stories about Liverpool, and mainly the footie team, but it's always bang up to date, and gets pages from all over the world, and I love to read the opinions of people in other countries.

Arts & Letters Daily ( http://www.aldaily.com/ ) . The internet portal for the Chronicle of Higher Education. It reports on just about everything, daily, and provides links to the most interesting articles and papers. Its list of bookmarks is second to none.

This is the only one I go to on a regular basis. However, I do like the Worldconnect Project at rootsweb.com. This is where people upload their family trees, and now and again I get emails from distant relatives who have seen my contribution. I believe this is a worthwhile project that will ensure that the work I have done on my family tree will be preserved for future generations.

Veoh, a much better version of youtube with perfect picture quality and with the ability to download content and watch it in full screen.

I love photobucket, cause I find the best pics for my blogs and I love youtube cause I find all my fav music, but I absolutely love gamefaq when I get stuck on a video game!!!!

Facebook cos my friends are all on there and I get to catch up with people i havn't seen in ages. Plus the photos I have on there are sooo funny.

i like this one and I generally use the internet to gather info about what I'm inquisitive about. I really don't have a 'favorite'- but I do get some great e-mails!!
