Playback feature?

When burning a movie to dvd using Nero, how do you add a playback feature so that it will work in a dvd player?

When i burn mine, they will play in the computer dvd, but not in my dvd player for the TV, it says no playback feature..How do i get that or can I get that?

Update:

What kind of conversion do i need to make? How do I convert files?

    Just select DVD-Movie as the format on the start. this will make the DVD playable in DVD players.

    The disc's have to be the correct type and the file has to be converted to the correct format for the DVD player to be able to read it! ;-)=
